"Parenting During the Pandemic"

online pay-what-you-can workshop with Julie King

  • Could you use some fresh ideas for surviving the new demands of parenting during a pandemic?

  • Is there more whining, crying, or defiance in your home (yours or your child's)?

In this one-hour online presentation, Julie King, co-author of the best selling book How To Talk So Little Kids Will Listen, shares useful guidance and tools for parents who are doing their best to cope with the effects of the pandemic on home life. Her presentation is interactive, and includes topics such as:

  • children under stress: understanding typical behavior, and how to support children under shelter-in-place

  • how to engage children's cooperation

  • how to reduce the fighting

  • how to manage all that screen time!

Time at the end is reserved for Q&A.

Fee is by Donation Pay-What-You-Can from USD $0 to $179. 20% of whatever revenue is generated will be donated to SigEp, although no one is required to pay to take the workshop.

The presentation is also available for private groups such as businesses and school communities.
