Join us at Penn Homecoming, Saturday, November 9th

Homecoming at 4028 Walnut will be SPEcial, for we will dedicate a plaque to honor and thank Penn Delta's Class of 1955 which, collectively, raised $50,000 in our last alumni fund raising effort to have the chapter's Living Room named after them.

The undergrads are looking forward personally to thanking each member of '55 in attendance, for '55 is our finest and most loyal class since the early founding days of the chapter in the 00's and teens--of the last century.

The undergrads and alumni are going all-out to provide all of us with a memorable, fun time.

The full schedule of the SigEp portion of Homecoming will be published in the October Delta Penn, and we can tell you this much now:-  the undergrads are working on providing morning coffee, possibly hot cider and other treats before the Penn-Cornell kick-off at Franklin Field at 1 pm.  (A few of us are around who still remember the Penn-Cornell Thanksgiving Day games, and many have heard of the two Penn-Cornell games in 1945 and 1946 where we had literally hundreds of alumni and family members attend, in celebration of the end of the War, and leading to the establishment of the Pennsylvania Delta Foundation.)

After the football game, an alumni/undergrad reception at 4028 Walnut, with heavy hors d'ouvres will be provided by...ready?...our new chef, Jason Rego. Alumni will want to meet Jason, for this may signal the return of a cherished Penn Delta tradition of having a "table" where our undergrads may gather together.

Suds and wine, water, soft drinks, including diet soft drinks, will also be provided at the post-game reception, plus a few surprises:-  we are working to have an undergrad campus group provide us with some musical background entertainment reflecting the dixieland, jazz genre.  And we are encouraging returning alums and undergrads to deck themselves out with some Penn and SigEp "swag."

More about all that in the upcoming Delta Penn.

Please signal your attending by contacting Brett Danko, '90, Pennsylvania Delta Foundation president, at 609-203-3477 or at This email address is being protected from spambots. See you and your family members on November 9th--it will be fun.
