Penn Delta African Safari - July 18 - August 1, 2020
South Africa & Zimbabwe

Following up on our recent update, we shared news of Rob Fuller's excellent adventure and asked if any alumni were interested in joining.  And so far, we’ve had an amazing response!  Many have expressed interest and we are very excited to announce that this idea of a Penn SigEp adventure has quickly grown into a large group spanning many different eras.

Since our last update we’ve added Paul Puleo, ’87, wife Hailey, and their three children in addition to those previously committed: Steve Gresdo, '96; Erik and Paola Doebel, '00 and '01, and their son; Brett Danko ’91, wife Dawn ’91 and their two children.  Conrad Eberstein ’65 and wife Jackie are close to joining also.  Several others expressed interest for future safaris so we may need to offer another SigEp safari in 2021.

This is going to be an amazing trip with all proceeds donated to Wildlife Conservation.  Wouldn't it be fantastic if we could fill this trip with mostly Penn Delta SigEps?  What an experience it will be!

This safari is packed full of wildlife encounters and includes spectacular conservation activities. Guests will participate in a rhino notching conservation experience with a wildlife vet team, experience thrilling Big Five game drives, visit Victoria Falls (Wonder of the World), feed orphaned elephants, zipline in Vic Falls, safari on foot, explore an ancient sand forest, track endangered Painted Wolves from the BBC Dynasties series, canoe the mighty Zambezi River and much more!
